Meet the Expert are courses offered by BD Academy Center, BD’s physical training space in Milan, designed to provide high-level specialist content for in-depth discussions and sharing practical knowledge on key topics and diagnostic solutions. These courses are intended for those who already use BD solutions and want to explore technical aspects of the solutions and high-level scientific details.

The course “Data Management in Microbiology” aims to shift the focus to data in order to improve laboratory processes and workflows. Access to quality information and monitoring performance indicators should be a must for laboratories, and beyond, to improve TAT (Turnaround Time) and optimize patient outcomes in general. The laboratory should implement specific middleware for Microbiology capable of integrating critical information and enabling the extraction of useful reports for the laboratory, healthcare management, and clinicians.
