Meet the Expert | Advanced BD EpiCenter™ Course

Meet the Expert are courses offered by BD Academy Center, BD’s physical training space in Milan, designed to provide high-level specialist content for in-depth discussions and sharing practical knowledge on key topics and diagnostic solutions. These courses are intended for those who already use BD solutions and want to explore technical aspects of the solutions and high-level scientific details.

The “Advanced BD EpiCenter™ Course” aims to deepen the use of the specific software for Microbiology in order to enhance diagnostic results and optimize the communication process of clinical reporting, which is the primary goal of the Laboratory.

Two days will be dedicated to providing in-depth training on the use of BD Epicenter™: managing pre-analytical information from the LIS, understanding data from analytical instruments, validating and reporting results, performing statistical-epidemiological investigations, implementing continuous hospital infection surveillance to communicate critical information in real-time, and generally providing an important contribution to Corporate Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs.
