Innovation Lab | Solutions to Support the Laboratory in the Fight Against AMR: Molecular Focus and Antibiogram

Innovation Lab refers to the events hosted by the BD Academy Center, BD’s physical space in Milan dedicated to training. These events focus on presenting and describing BD’s diagnostic and laboratory medicine solutions, highlighting the value they bring to healthcare professionals, institutions, and patient outcomes.

The event “Solutions to Support the Laboratory in the Fight Against AMR: Molecular Focus and Antibiogram” aims to foster discussion among healthcare professionals involved in various aspects of AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) programs. Starting from the guidelines outlined in the PNCAR 22-25 and Ministerial Circulars, as well as field experiences from some centers, the event will highlight the needs and future challenges that healthcare facilities must face. Recognizing the laboratory’s central role in supporting the implementation of Surveillance, Prevention, and Infection Control measures, as well as Antimicrobial Stewardship, the event will also provide an overview of the Solutions that BD has developed to support healthcare organizations in this area.
