Innovation Lab refers to the events hosted by the BD Academy Center, BD’s physical space in Milan dedicated to training. These events focus on presenting and describing BD’s diagnostic and laboratory medicine solutions, highlighting the value they bring to healthcare professionals, institutions, and patient outcomes.

The event “Integrated Microbiology Solution – Solutions and KPIs for the Sepsis Pathway” aims to review, starting from the guidelines for the pre-analytical phase in blood culture collection, the key factors that need to be monitored to ensure reliable and high-quality results. Monitoring allows for the identification of potential errors in the pre-analytical phase and the adoption of necessary corrective actions. It will be an opportunity to share tangible evidence of how BD solutions can help improve the appropriateness and efficiency of the entire diagnostic sepsis pathway.
